Hi folks,

I have found what a seller is claiming to be a Finn M39 for sale.

However, the receiver does not have any military marks at all (which seems a bit odd to me).

It just has the Tula arsenal mark, the date (1932) and then the serial number.

The stock is defiantly a M39 stock. The sights are too. Even the double sling attachments are there.

The seller has said:
" Some information as follows
Rifle manufactured at the Tula arsenal in 1932 and has a hexagonal receiver probably a Finnishicon capture during WW2.
A Nagant specialist told me that hundreds of these rifles were assembled from reserve in the late 90s as surplus for the civilian market, and has no Military marks
The rifle looks to have be fitted with new parts including the stock. The stock is typically Finnish with superb jointing and is mint.
As with most Nagants the barrel and bolt match, but nothing else. It has a Birmingham proof stamp."

Is anyone aware of of M39s with ZERO Finnish markings ? Or any M39s assembled in the 90s ?
