Can I asked is there insurance for the items by the handler as that is pretty sad to have two firearms damaged in such a way.

Easy repair using the correct WOOD glue, clamped for 24 hours. Next day, strengthen by using 2 turned oak dowels along the line of the break, glued and knocked in. Will last another lifetime. Done loads of them.

Were there tire tracks on the exterior of the box? I would like to know who the shipping company was if you care to divulge . Even if they were not properly packaged that damage seems extreme.

I have bought off this company alot this was first time having multiple firearms shipped in same box getting damaged. the brown truck might have road over it. Company is making good between us. but brown said it was not shipped in original box so not there fault.
Steve i just wanted this one for a shooter for the kids so might give it a whirl an put it back to shooting shape. will cast bore to make sure what it is.

Reminds me of the Sampsonite luggage commercial with the Gorillia baggage handler.
