I was helping at 'Sighting In Days' at my Sportsmen's Club on Sunday. After the 'Public' left, I had a chance to do a little shooting with my Ludwig Loewe Model 1893 Spanish Mauser.
I shot some old Winchester-Western (175 grain bullet) loads and some new Prvi (139 grain bullet) loads. Accuracy was pleasing to me and shots grouped close to point of aim at 50 and 100 yards. Surprisingly, both bullet weights printed to same area of targets.
I'm sure 100 yard group would have been much tighter if my eyes had not started seeing the front-blade as a blur.
