Wish I could take pictures maybe I'll by a bore light. I ran a patch with clp through the bore and it was absolutely clean after many passes.

That is an witness/index line. Which as intact and having that been there done that look, the barrel is probably just fine. My brother had and Eddy stone that had a barrel I think an RA that looked fine but had been cut back a couple threads and shortened due to throat erosion. This of course was done outside the military and it wasn't a good chamber job, score rings inside. A tell tale sign was the very short witness mark on the barrel.
As your finding out, the road it full or potholes..lol

Not to rain on your parade, but the rear sight protective receiver ears have been ground down on your rifle.

1 in 10 threads(?) on barrel. They had to take a full turn off the barrel shoulder to achieve that, or less for "crush". If any.

"Lightening cut" NO. Done by Bubba for no reason. Destroyed all collector value. You paid collector money and got Bubba gun. Sorry, but take it back right now.

Todd, it'd be a lot cheaper for you to learn the subject of these and other kinds of rifles Before you buy anything. If you don't know anything about a type of rifle, ask about it here. That is why this forum exists. Until you take advantage of the knowledge of others on the subject, you cannot make a sound purchase. Read books, go to Gun Shows and ask questions, take pictures of something you're interested in and ask about it here on this site. It's your money, but you ought to slow down and do it right.
