    1914 Colt 1911

I am new to the older 1911's, and know very little about them. This one was made in 1914, well that's it, that's all I know. Any input would be very helpful, value would also be helpful.

Nice pistol and good acquisition. Somebody apparently cleaned, or used steel wool on the magazine.

    Congrats for your new acquisition!
I always tell my collector mates to put originality at the top of their priority list, originality isn't something that can be restored. I've never seen a 1911 I didn't like.
