THANKS to RTL and Doug (Badger)!!!

I was having access problems to this site from my new PC and emailed RTL if he'd post about it on my WTB thread. He did and I got an email from Doug (Badger) with detailed instructions on how to possibly fix my problem.

Doug's instructions appeared to have solved my issue. My sincere thanks to both of them!!!

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. You're welcome Mike....

Just for everyone else's benefit, Mike had a problem we're seeing a few other people reporting, who may be coming to our site by always clicking an OLD Joustericon link....

DO NOT connect to the new site by using an OLD bookmark in your Internet browser, that points to the old Jouster web site. That will cause you to be in a loop that doesn't know who you are and it could be causing you not to be able to login, post messages, reply to messages, or other strange behavior.

In other words, use a direct link to get to the new forums.

Once you've done that, SAVE it as a NEW bookmark in your browser.

If you're having problems, or know someone who is, try the following sequence ....

CLEAR your cookies, cache and history in your Internet browser. Turn your system OFF and ON....

Go to the NEW web site and try to login. Type in both of the boxes .... your name in one and your password in the other. Check the small square box titled "Remember Me?" so you don't have to log in any more, because it sets a "cookie" on your computer.

If you are logged in properly and it was successful, then in the top right corner of the screen you should see your user name indicating you are logged on. If you see blank boxes titled "User Name" and "Password" then you are NOT logged in !!!

    Regards,
    Badger

I moved here and registered as soon as the ADMIN. posted on CSP that they would soon be leaving the web. I used the features he included in the posting to get here and put the address in my "favorites" file. From there I put it onto my "desktop". It is a direct link to the "CSP" forums and I don't have to go through the other items listed on Milsurps homepage to get here.
    The address is.......

**** Jouster's CSP Forums **** - Military Surplus Collectors Forums

From there you pick the "old" CSP forum you want to go to.

    HTH,

    Emri

P.S.- THANK-YOU to the folks at Milsurps for providing this space for us !!!
I only look at the M1903 forum with the occasional glance at others, So it is easier to get closer at first try than to have to make several clicks to get here. Thanks again, Emri
