A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. If those are real and not someone's knock off, that is a great price. Even with the $15.35 shipping they tack on.

When I bought one there was only one left. Hmmm. Vewwy Intewestink.

They had some others that were split backs 90 bux sold out now. Aren't the solid backs are more collectible?

I believe the one they pictured is authentic. Let's see if you get the exact same one, including the wrap. They probably just haven't updated their site yet. - Bob

No problem. Over on the CMPicon forum there was a guy that bought 20 plus...he's probably going to flip then at $60 plus each.

I don't know their reasoning on the prices, but I would've had the early ones at $90 and the "split backs" at $40. I guess if they had about the same quantity of each, it made no difference. - Bob
