    Birmingham International today 18th...

Although was not planning to go but thought I was selling a bayonet so it was a good meeting place, had a quick look around but nothing much caught my eye, one No36 Mills Grenade but thats about it......
Met up with the buyer..... but he mentioned then that he already had a unit marked one which was better than mine, disappointed to say the least...... the fact I'd gone out my way to describe it well and send plenty of pictures etc, if he said he wasn't sure then I would not of bothered... its a fact it was an early rise and by the time I was home had wasted 7 hrs

Although Good to see Roger, Dave and Paul..... hope all went well gents and you did better than me.

Sorry to hear you were ultimately disappointed with the bayonet sale Dukey. I was hoping perhaps someone else might have shown interest in it. It was nice to talk & catch up, anyway. Thanks again for helping with my little restoration project!

It wasn't so much the sale Rog, more the time involved etc, not too worried, I'll be listing a good few on here in the Buy and sell part of the forum. More than happy to help out, like I say, The impossible I can do, but Miracles take a little bit longer
