Many thanks Rodger - It looks the part and works a treat - put in a variable iris with variable coloured lenses eyepiece.

Finished off my Home built 'Bitsa' project.

Parts from :
Canada, USA, Australia and England.
Built on a Lithgow receiver that was 'scrubbed', FR'd, cosmolined and put into storage by RFI in '46.

Looks great Alan. I've been after a 5a for ages, but can't bring myself to spend £150+ on it. Looks like you've got one in great condition though.

i got a few of them when they was cheap. i made a lot of bad deals over the years but not on these.
