    A Navy issue Colt M1911...

I acquired this Colt from the son of Capt. Fly. His son, Bill Fly, lives here in Bellingham and has a large collection of memorabilia from his father...

The placard is from one of my Navy displays... The barrel has a surprising good bore!!!

This is a good example of one of the so called "Black Armys". This finish didn't hold up very well....

Great pics of a "Black Army" Colt, John. It really shows how that finish wears over time. Thanks for sharing.
