What does Patrick Stewart have to do with Mausers sucking or not?

Mausers can't suck too much.... Look at their record. In the two "World Championships" contested last century they finished second both times! Admittedly they were behind the Lee Enfield on the podium in both 1918 and 1945, though. What was the prize for the runner-up again?
