Well the best made plans of mice and men are apt to unravel at times and you are correct in the assuming side of things I would query about a refund for a part job in backing up files I say this as there are some members whom are no longer with us on this rock so those pics are gone for good.
The team you have operating this site and especially you yourself provide a service far beyond what others do and I belong to a fair few m/cycle ones and they just turn to doo doo at times with slanging matches in a sandpit.
