    Stock manufacturer

On my m14 there is under the butt trap, on the hinge side, a "U" in a square stamped into the wood. Outside of a "P" and a "P" in a circle, both underneath and behind the trigger guard this is the only stamp i can se without dissasembling. Does this indicate any specific stock manufacturer?
