There is not much we can do but cry in our beer. We KNEW this was coming, he made things very clear.

When the house and senate was taken over by demos in 2006, it was the beginning of the end. When the left wing news kept saying over and over that demos were going to take over, it was inevitable. When they cooked up schemes on Bush and his administration, it was coming down. Over and over they said it was the worse economy since the depression. They made sure that everyone believed it, which was easy for the dip sheits who were drinking kool-aid.

We are here now, there is not much we can do. Obamma has the ball, Peelosi and Reid are the quarterbacks. We can try to hold on for our dear lives.

It can't get much worse, can it?

Honestly I would never ask someone else a question like the starter for this thread. Certainly not on the internet if for no other reason than I wouldn't want to give the authorities a list of folks who answered yes.

I frankly find your post quoted here condescending. I don't have to answer to anyone for what I would or wouldn't do, certainly not someone I've never met.

Taking up arms would be relatively simple, and in some ways, easier

NATO, If it comes to that, I would be willing to take up arms.

But the real progress must be made before it gets to that point. We need to join with grass roots efforts, we need to perform missionary work, find out what our schools are teaching, deal with it. Start visiting local editors and taking them to task for not covering conservative topics. That sort of thing.

The Socialists have a 25 - 30 year head start, and as you know, they've made good use of their time. They didn't use guns, they used gradual but steady advances into news media, entertainment, education, law & courts, politics, you name it.

In the late 1800's, that slow but steady approach was developed by the Fabian Socialists, in Englandicon (England was once a country that had a proud tradition of freedom).

Now we are seeing its effects on our country and on our fellow citizens.

Much of success comes from simply showing up and doing your thing. And keeping at it, like gravity. I started during this last election cycle and I plan to keep at it, enlisting as many others as I can.

    Regards,

    They're checking their lists

7.62 you raise a very interesting question - and to put it a different way - when a police officer politely knocks on your door and informs you he has a writ to confiscate all of your guns - will you shoot him?

I don't think gun confiscation will happen in a violent manner - it will happen slowly over time thru taxation, manufacturer lawsuits, reductions in shooting areas, vilification of firearms thru crisis (ala gun bans in Britainicon). So I don't see the opportunity for another Concord shot heard round the world.

    but to answer your question:

    1) I don't think any of us will really know until "the day" happens.

    2) I don't think it wise for anyone to layout their game plan out in the open.

OK - I gotta go - the black helicopters are coming back around....

    Steve

Sorry to disappoint you but it's always been my policy to never reveal either my true intentions nor my true capabilities until it's time to make use of either/both.

Some of us, who maybe have lived a little longer, might possibly have learned that sometimes it's better not to "telegraph" one's intentions. This is especially true on a public forum.
