If anyone has seen the dayglow furniture for sale please drop a note here. I would like to do an M-16 up in that fashion. Tagged for display "the last and most colorful version of the Mattel M-16 rifle."

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. I was wondering what other US kit Vietnam may still be using?

I was condemned to having my left eye my master eye and thus fired my C7 from the Left shoulder. It was no problem with the case deflector but when I bought an M16A1 parts kit to build a semi-auto Vietnam era version of the rifle I was soundly thwacked in the middle of my forehead after every shot.

We had lots of those guys, just taught them to reverse what we said "Right" for "Left". With the C1 before the C7, we used an eye patch when the man was master right and dominant eye left. Guy would look like a pirate taking the safety briefing. Then during the rundown he'd have to pull the eyepatch down last thing.

Yeah, I am dominant left eye and left handed so it is simple, but there have been some ejection incidents. My A1/A2 has the deflector which helps. I had a pistol that would run a hot one down my shirt now and again.
