Here is my first Carcano I purchased. It is a 1936 R.E. Terni build. I have had the opportunity to shoot it and it is awesome.

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. Not so much with our ammo in the US. Undersized bullets. Couldn't get mine on paper at 50 yards and it has a great bore.

Did you ever try with the right .268 bullets?
Those rifles really can surprise you.

No, I'm not a huge shooter. I've never fired the majority of what I own. So it hasn't been a high priority for me. I keep saying someday but that day never arrives. I have reloading dies and keep the brass so it may happen someday.
