Not sure if this is new, but the CMP page header shows they are working on it. It would be nice if they fixed the URL while they are at it. The current string of characters makes no sense vs the original CMP forum link. https://forums.thecmp.org/
The CMP Forum is under maintenance and our IT Team is working on the issue. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Banned from CMP forum
I have been getting same Error message since yesterday. Guess site is down.
Been active on it since 2011. Sure hope they get it squared away and back up and running.
It will be a huge loss if gone for good.

Agreed. Same here. I sent a message into them yesterday via the contact us link. Received an email this morning that they are aware and IT is working on it.

Their IT crew should be changing targets!! On a live range! Been down since 7-10. Absolutely no excuse for this clusterfrick !!!

Question on CMP as I show I was banned.
Up in a somewhat ify condition. The site is not secure and using http. They need to upgrade their certificate to get https back. It’s a minor security concern however as we do enter sensitive credit card data.

And another positive note, they went back to the original URL of http://forums.thecmp.org/. This was causing folks a lot of trouble as the Forums link is at the bottom of the CMP webpage, but folks had to use that goofy link with vbulletin in it to access.
Switching back to the original URL should also solve many access issues.
