    Argentine 1895 Lance

Wanted one of these for a while but shipping has been prohibitive. Decided to order one for pick up in person and got it today.

Sarco has been selling them for quite a while and are down to the last 10 or so.

Germanicon made Argentineicon 1895 Uhlan lance. 1 inch steel tube construction with brass rope wrapped center section. I did not measure it but it's supposed to be over 10 feet in length.

Pennant is obviously not Argentine, it's Prussian and a repro but it's very well made and looks good. Lance looks a little bare without it.

I'd only get into trouble with that sort of thing. Probably start bringing it out on the road in the K-5, and begin poking stuff that deserved it.

It is a bit difficult moving it around the house. I managed to keep it out of the ceiling fan at least. It’s now hanging from the ceiling in one of the upstairs bedrooms.

Nice piece, good catch. That's why mine are up on the beams out of reach of the curious. Good to see you...
