    190A3 Remington Price Check

I have searched and a lot of the threads are older, so I figured I would ask.

I don't have much info on the gun, so just asking for a ball park value. From the serial number it looks like it is a 42 or 43, different sites gave a different number. Barrel bands are blued anlong with the butt plate, maybe even the bolt (will try to include photo). I beleive the finish is a gray park type finish.

Stock is in great shape has RA crossed cannons and FJA in a box near the action and OG on the butt stock, haven't seen the barrel. Seller says that all parts are marked with an R (front sight guard, safety, bolt handle, sling swivles and barrel bands).

Thanks for any help, I love these guns but don't want to over pay.

I had a pretty nice 03-A3 I bought at a gun show in 2014 for $550. It was an OG rebuild and probably about like the one you're looking at. Your description sounds really close to mine. Some thought I gave too much, but sold it easily 2 years later for $700. I would say a "ball park" figure would be at least $800 - $900. Sure wish I had kept that one! - Bob

I just sold a very nice OG-stamped Remington, with correctly marked and colored parts in100% condition with original packing grease since overhaul for $2,200. Buyer is happy.

The one pictured doesn't show everything. But bolt and rear sight color lead me to believe this one has a chance to be one of those "nice" ones.

I agree with the assessment that there are some $8-900 guns out there. But there are also ones worth 2-3 times as much.

Thanks USGI, he is looking for 1000, so I guess I gotta give it a good going over.

I am hoping it is one of the "nice" once, going to go look it at in about 3 hrs. If purchased I will create a thread.

That one looks like it has the reinforcing bolts in the stock, mine just had the pins. Barrel date on mine was 10-43. If you get it, post a link here to your new thread. - Bob
