    Winchester Model 52 @ 50 yds.

    I get all caught up in large bore I forget what fun it is to make quiet, tiny holes on a Sunday morning. My glasses kept fogging, not used to any humidity with my heat. Still, pretty respectable.

    I have a lot more experience than expertise, still have both eyes and most of my fingers though.

    A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. Nice groups... Yep, I shoot a CZ 457 varmint every Friday if I can, and it shoots ratholes too. I still use cheap ammo so I get what I pay for and have wind to contend with. I shoot a steel gong at 100yds, a 1" AR500 that resembles your single raised finger. To warm up I shoot at the gongs at 60yds, use the connecting bolt heads for aiming marks. They're about 3/4" across. Quite a rifle.
    Regards, Jim

    People forget sometimes what a fine rifle the Winchester Model 52 is. It wasn't until the Seventies that it given way in top-level competition to newer match rifles from Walther and Anschütz;
