A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. It's more interesting as it gives us an idea of how many scope tubes were built before 1944. - and there are much lower numbered MkI/A scopes...

I am going to have dig into my records, as I have rebuilt/repaired approx 20 to to 25 REL scopes in the last 8 to 10 years so I must make up a chart.
Plus, I Have a number as well.
Also, I just got a British icon

one in for repairs with soldered screws as well. AND Original ...
