    Strange (to me) Mag Pouch

Odd metal belt attachment clips on the back. Seems too tight to fit a belt. Markings on the back:

    POCKET AMMO MAG
    OD7 45 CAL
    DSA 100-1987
    8465 782 2239

What do I have? It's been lying around here for a long time and I recently discovered it. I have long since forgotten where/how I got it; probably from my long deceased cousin who was a USMC NCO.

    browningautorifleicon,

Thank you for the kind offer but you and Flying1Ouk nailed it so posting my pictures would be redundant.

But my next question is: What belt is this supposed to fit? I have an old school pistol belt with the snap for the old school magazine pouch and, while I haven;t tried to attach this pouch to it, it seems a good bit of effort would be required to get it on there! And, yes, the metal parts on mine are oxidized.
