Likewise, I'm not going to feel this at all. I learned way back. I wonder how new shooters will make out.

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. I will accept PayPal, Zelle, MO and good old checks (and cash if you want to stop by for a tour!). CLICK BANNER to send me a PM for International pricing and shipping. Manufacturer of various vintage rifle scopes for the 1903 such as our M73G4 (reproduction of the Weaver 330C) and Malcolm 8X Gen II (Unertl reproduction). Several of our scopes are used in the CMP Vintage Sniper competition on top of 1903 rifles. Brian Dick ... I'm down to 10k primers. I'm starting to get nervous.

I haven't seen trail boss on a shelf or online here since before the pandemic, same for just about all the Australianicon made rifle powders too. They started to creep back on the shelves a few months ago though. I landed x2 8lb containers of Varget at Cabela's on Black Friday. I saw 1lb containers online last summer, with limit x5. Funny though, powder on the shelf and online stores is pretty much at pre-pandemic prices. As others have said, primers are back but not keeping pace with inflation in the least. Haven't seen large rifle primers at all, but pistols and small rifles are aplenty now, prices notwithstanding.

Large Rifle and Large Rifle Magnum Primers are still elusive here in California, at least. Small rifle/pistol, large rifle/pistol, and SM/LG Magnum pistols seem to be everywhere. Some CCI Large Rifle popped up on MIDWAYUSA and were gone within a few minutes. I use mostly Remington Large Rifle and was down to about 1500 but I scored three boxes (1000 each), a gun store had a bunch on consignment paid $75.00 per 1000 which is cheap compared to the $140.00 they seem to be going for now. I'm good for now but always on the look-out.
