    PAL 36 Knife

Never had one of these yet. Looked this one over very closely on the eBay photos and decided it was probably in a lot nicer condition than it looked. It came today and yes, it's a lot nicer. I just can't figure out why the guy didn't at least wipe it off. All that white stuff on the scabbard and the grips came right off. The dark stuff on the blade is leather fuzz from the scabbard. Parkerized blade with maybe 50% finish left. No pitting or rust.

I shouldn't complain, I got it pretty reasonably.

Yes, pretty reasonable price. I was eying one here locally but didn't move on it. I have to be careful or I'll be living in the street with all these neat toys stacked around me. A friend had THREE Mike Silvey fighting knives for bid on Ebay and I tried on two when they had lots of time and were looking like they'd go cheap. I watched two of them until bidding ran out and went WAY above where I was willing. Guess it was for the best.
    Regards, Jim
