    Good luck sneaking up on this position at night great use of natural surroundings love it and those cacti offer no protection from Ma-Deuce's 50 cal rounds....

    Yes WW2 pic with a 1917 mount for the .50. I'm not so sure that's going to be very useful like that.

    This picture was taken late 1942 or after since that is when they started adding the T to technician ranks. The soldier manning the .50 is a T/5 Technician 5th Class.
