    F.M.E Chilean 7x57 surplus ammo safe? 1976

A friend gave me this ammo to shoot in my new Chileanicon 1895 Lowe Mauser.
Can anyone tell me if they’ve had experience with this ammo? Wondering how hot it might be. Safe to shoot? I would assume it is corrosive. Thanks.

Non corrosive?! Really! Well that’s nice to know. But I already cleaned with soapy water real good. Can you share where the non corrosive information came from? I’d like to read up on it. Thanks!
