    worth a Try.

I asked these questions on Gunboards, maybe I can get a result here.
A request from the Australianicon Military in 1913 to Harry Motton for assistance with sights for the Martini Enfield, a follow up with another sight maker and an unknown and the subsequent approvals.

I have never seen a MUES with extended leg, but I have two different MOTTYS (Shown with standard sight in middle)
I would assume the sight height was adjusted to eleviate the need to recalibrate elevation.
The comment on shooting 1000yds is interesting.

Has anyone got a sight bracket or pic. of one?
Is there any info. on HYDE or his sight?
Cadets and Rifle Clubs were using Martini Enfields for practice post 1914 with the withdrawal of LEE ENFIELDS,these became available for purchase post 1918.
