    I Bruise Easy

Gotta tell ya, I'm feeling a bit sore this morning.
The missus and I were at the Airshow yesterday.....loverly warm day, enjoying myself.

Sitting next to a younger ex RAAF chap and chatting, he had a bit of a roving eye,his attention span was limited by the sight of the young birds wandering about....and these birds were not flying.....more the ground hugging variety.

Well I'd already got a few punches in the shoulder from the missus sitting beside me as I looked to see what was diverting his attention....didn't comment but It was easy to see why he had such a limited attention span.

We were chatting about the flying when he stopped in midstream as his eyes strayed to a tall Elle McPherson type in midriff top and fanny cooler shorts wandering past......well that punch on top of an already sore shoulder really hurt....."put your eyes back in your head" was the sharp snap.......I needed too get out of thumping range real quick.

I'm going back out today.......and going alone.

It has been a warm week here, and the college kids are on spring break. In parts of town, it can be a challenge to keep one's eyes on what's on the road instead of what's on the sidewalk.
I may be older, but I'm not dead yet.

Here's another way to look at it: just because you have a nice car doesn't mean you can't admire another bloke's nice car......you just can't take it for a test drive.

So you forgot your wrap-around sunglasses then? Serves you right.

I will admit I may be partially to blame, when we first got to the Airport I dropped the wife off at the Heli Pad, I quipped to one of the pilots doing load checking that they might need a bigger Helicopter......I think some of the thumps was payback.

Come to think of it, there was a heavy lift one there.

You're lucky they were only in the shoulder then.
