    Soviet helmet?

Neighbor gave this to me when I was a kid and it's been on a wall in the shop behind my family's house for at least 40 years. My son says it's Sovieticon SSH and my research says a 39?

It looks Sovieticon. Look for ink stamped markings on the inside. Locations vary so look carefully all over. Usually a square or rectangle with dates and things inside. They are sometimes hard to find in good helmets, that one might be impossible.
