That's a Model 8 Remington. Came in .25, .30, .32, and .35 Remington calibers.

Great photos. One of the reasons we had many fine marksmen during WWII. Audie Murphy, for example grew up hunting for his supper in East Texas woods. No doubt it came in handy, hunting and making head shots on German soldiers with an M1 Carbine.

Phillip was one of the first members to spot this new feature of the site, even before the announcement was made. Another way of easily viewing photo albums is to look under a member's user name in posts and see whether or not they have their own Photo Gallery on-line.

You can also leave personal "Comments" for Phillip right in his albums as to what you think of his collection.

Large - Raccoon..smaller - Muskrat...more interesting is the rifle a scoped springfield 1922??
