Could be a P14. Looks like it has the spot for a volley sight on the side.

Great pics. The italian sniper makes himself very friendly to countersniping. Nice glossy scope but the huge piece of grass on his cap gives a good camouflage

I think you're talking about the Soviet
sniper...
But yeah that one blade of grass makes him the master of camouflage.
Even Vasily Zaytsev himself would not have been abled to find him !

Definitely a P14. The Canadians used a few Warner Swazey scopes on Ross Rifles as well. This pic is also posted on a spanish website. Be interesting to know where the reference to Italy
comes from. Not that im arguing I d just like to know more as i used the same pic in a post about 2 weeks ago.
