CMP purchases from California
I'm about to order a rifle from CMP
. I contacted a Fed Firearms License holder about the Dealers Record of Sale (DROS) paperwork.
The FFL holder told me that purchases from CMP did not require DROS and 10 day hold due to the extensive check done by CMP prior to sale. That is the CMP background check supercedes the California DROS.
Can anyone confirm or deny? Thanks in advance.
