Which make Frank "Bucky" Buckles the last one left from The Great War. Raise a glass Gents...they were a brave breed, and we are their debtors.
Do not go gentle into that good night,
Old age should burn and rave at close of day;
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Last Brit vet of WWI dies at 111 years of age. It's a long way to Tipperary.
Smooth sailing, and following winds.

It is sad news to see a generation pass. I believe there is one US WWI still alive.

INSCOM patch. Thanks for your service.
Yes, the last American soldier from WWI Mr. Frank Buckles is 108 and lives on his cattle farm near Charles Town, WV. I'll be seeing him 2 weeks from now when I attempt to fix his growing coyote problem. Although confined to a chair these days, he's very much a conversationalist and is as sharp and wry as ever.http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u...m_068/610x.jpg

Farewell, fair skys, smooth sailing and a following wind.
So I can't spell, so what!!!

Be polite. Be professional. But, have a plan to kill everyone you meet.
