i have a question about the no4 mk1*t were would they put the mark at on the rifle?

Check the England - Milsurp Knowledge Library for the representative example we have there, of an "all correct" 1944 Enfield No.4 Mk1(T) Sniper Rifle (Mfg by BSA Shirley - M47c), complete with a 130 picture photo montage of most of the markings and components you should see on yours.

It is speculated that Long Branch didn't put the "T" on their snipers, as more than a few examples don't have it. (Especially the early ones). However, a number do have it. It is suspected that when these went to the British
, their armorors "made it right" and applied the "T" stamp. It'll drive you nuts....
