A friend has asked me to help him sell a 1903 Rock island, SN# 190,XXX, (looks to date to 1910)with a Springfield barrel marked SA over the bomb, with 6-12 below, then a A below that, Seems early for a rebarrel. Stock appear original,
Is a humpback with fingergroves, only mark on the stock is a S. behind the trigger guard. Condition is about 75-80%. Good bore and crown.
Any thought to value?, would like to see him get a fair price.
Thanks, remiInformation
