Is this anything special?
Found a Springfield 1903 serial #1209584. The barrel is dated 2-42 (RA) punch marked. The finger grooved 2 bolt stock has a serified P, very faint and a circled P mark. There is a cartouche ending in an A, not FJA. The bolt has a punchmark and R on it. The rear and front sights have been removed and there is a lyman globe sight up front and 2 holes on the receiver for rear sight that is missing. The barrel is in excellent shape. The gun has been in a closet for some time and I need a clue for a fair price if possible. Thanks, Andy

Sounds about right, maybe a little less in this neck of the woods.
