I Need To Rebarrel My 03A3
I have a NOS 2 groove still packed with cosmo I bought years ago and need to replace the rough 4 groove that is one the rifle now. The remainder of the rifle is a solid shooter grade (IMO) but the bore was not properly cleaned and most likely sat in a corner for many years. Anyhow, I live in VA and want someone to do the job that I can trust and is reasonable. There are several smiths in the area but they range from mediocre to won't touch it unless I'm building a 3K+ gun with no middle of the road folks that I can find. Where should I send the barreled action and bolt for work I can trust?

Gus reads this site. Try posting a request here for a "Gus Fisher" help. Mind you, I am not certain if he does '03 work.

Blacksan,
You can try to PM 'GUS FISHER' at the link below if you're looking for somebody who may be near you. I just checked and he hasn't posted here for a while though, and he doesn't show he's accepting emails through the site.

If you need to ship it, I'd give 'CHUCKINDENVER' the nod though. I've done business with him before and had quick turnaround. He's very knowledgeable with 03A3's and he does quality work for a fair price. He's very active here and you should get a quick response.
You can send him a PM here:
