parts ?
i have a mixmaster 29711xx, 6/44sa with 11/43sa barrel, op rod D35382 W.R.A. rebuilt te 7-64, birch. wra, ihc, & sa parts
if i want to keep parts on hand for ONE garand.
should i purchase from the CMP
a rack grade or look to one of the many garand parts dealers for a list of necessaries.
what becomes worn after ~3k down the barrel?

Replace the op rod & clip latch springs now & buy a second set for later. The op spring prevents the bolt from hitting the receiver in recoil and, if worn or damaged, can allow the bolt to hit hard enough to split the receiver at the heel. A weak clip latch spring can allow premature clip ejection.
