Unidentified mauser
Hello All
This is my first post and I will probably make a few mistakes due to inexperience. I am sorry about that. If I do things halfway right there should be some pictures here. I have been told this is a Model 1909 Argentine
Mauser. I have cleaned it up a lot. Pictures of the Model 1909 show a stock to the end of the barrel. This has a short stock. It appears sound. On the left side I believe I see 7 mm. What are your thoughts of this rifle. The rifling is excellent. What would I need for scope mounts. I am in Brownsburg In. Does this rifle have any value? My new message states pictures exceed limits. As an old man novice I am stuck.

melwafle,
the 7mm Mauser is an Chileno Mauser M 1895( 7mmx57 Mauser). The Argentine
Mauser M 1909 is 7.65mmx53 Mauser. The pic doesnt work please try it again. Use "Manage Attachements" at "New Reply".
