Quality Hardware barrel band
Was wondering if this is the real deal. Asking a pretty penny for it.

Shows good patina, but this too is often faked.

Real or fake, it isn't worth that kind of money....
When they tell you to behave, they always forget to specify whether to behave well or badly!

I can't say if it's real or not.......I don't have one to compare it to.
$200 is high, but I wonder what the reserve is?
I am guilty of paying to much for parts that I need for a project. I grab up all the real parts I need for it... then itmay sit for months before I start it.
Good luck, if you decide to bid.

I have my doubts as to it's originality.

Hmmm, I am not sure I speak the langauge as they do on Gunbroker, can someone please check my translation??? Let's see...
"sold as in, no returns!".... I translate as "if you are uneducated enough to fall for this, you are stuck with it."
and the phrase "Pmt by Money order only!" translates as "I'm going to make sure you can not stop me from getting the money once you figure out you have been ripped off"
Geez, I hope I didn't translate that wrong.... Just my 2 cents worth on the way the guy wrote up the sales info....

Hopefully I am not quite that cynical, but absolutely nowhere in the description does the seller say anything about this being, authentic, USGI, or not a reproduction. The only time the word original is used is to say it is its original color. Well if I made it yesterday and painted it green then it will be in its original color.

Thanks for all the opinions (shown above and PM's). Will pass on this one. I got everything needed to complete a CMP
Quality Hardware barreled receiver, Italian
return. Type I barrel band would be cool, but a post war type III EMQ should work as well.

If it is real, it looks more like a Rock-ola band.
