Trials No4MkI(T), has anyone seen one for sale lately?
Thinning out the collection, various bills and needs for durable medical devices foster the need to sell of a few things out of the collection.
Looking for a ball park figure. Mine is stocked in beech, No32MkI scope and original bracket. None match each other. Bolt is unnumbered spare. All the hard to find bits are there, original front sight protector, original rear sight, original cutoff. Resides in a CNo7 transit case.

Is this one?
I'm not able to answer your question, but I wonder if you could answer one of mine.
Your post reminded me of this pic.
The guy jumping off the landing craft has a cheek piece fitted to his rifle.
There is a bright spot on the butt that looks like a stock disk.
Would a stock disk be an indicator of a trials No.4 MkI(T)?

Nothing in a trials, but your scope might fetch a good percentage of the whole package if the numbers match someone else's rifle (hint-hint). Mismatched packages lately seem to get LESS than the sum of their parts from what I've seen.

Hal,
Your PM is turned off.
I saw one on line sometime ago for 6K. Don't know if I saved the link.

Yes, with the disk in the butt that could very well be a trials rifle.

I'm thinking that might be the case.
I'll check the scope number in the AM.

That's a lot of money. No way mine is worth that...I think. Would be nice though!
I'll try to turn the PM function on.

Hal, Because it is a surviving trials rifle, that in itself commands a premium among collectors. PM coggansfield or Brian Dick
for a good estimate.

Very likely, but not 100% certain. See my recent post.
Usually the mag cutoff, MkI foresight protector and cocking piece and other indicators can be seen also.
