, right now with 2 days left in the auction, being bid up now to $4,500.00 by a newer member, this is astounding to me, and why is this carbine going as high

and higher??? anybody know?? Guess?

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. Here's another one. About all it seems to be is an original barrel on a reciever marked Irwin Pedersen. Most everything else is a mix. Could it be the serial number in the higher numbers of the allocated allotment? That guys going to be able to buy some nice Christmas presents. Yep, that one on gunbroker in S. Ga for 2000 is a lot cheaper. And it's from Detoliet.

I think of all CMP icon

IP's sold only 3-4 have been 32xxxxx, they are hard to find, I think all have brought over 3000 and think couple of them never even had correct barrels.
