The SS-men said they didnt know what to do with the POW`s, so they killed them! Horrible.

We did the same thing but not to the same scale. A coworkers father was in the pacific during WW 2 - the small group of GI's captured a group of Japanese
plane mechanics - given their extended position lack of men they had little option - I am sure the burden of their act weighs on all that remain today.

i have a P38 holster inscribed "Obertsturmfueher von der Thal, 2te kie. Panzerkampfgp. Peiper" But have never found out if its legit or not. Intrigueingly there is another name and address, unreadable, like it was inherited or something.
