garand stock

I purchased this stock at a gun show today. It has a cartouche SA over EMcF and the small crossed cannons. Don't see the proof P. There is a sticker in the barrel channel in a foreign language, like something the armorer might use for info. 1.65" barrel channel slot. Has flecks in the wood like beech. Needs refinishing and has a few small dings but looked in decent shape. Any thoughts on the sticker?
