You're bidding on a British No.4 Mk.I (Savage) Bolt Action Sniper Rifle, serial # OC 3630 over Ordnance Bomb, cal. 303 British, 25" barrel with a very good bore, this lend-lease rifle carries the Holland & Holland S51 stamp on the bottom of the butt stock and is equipped with a No.32 Mk.I scope with clear optics numbered 2823 and dated 1943, mount is numbered "AG 9723", the butt stock is also stamped 2823 just behind the rear of the bolt, forend is numbered to the gun, receiver stamped "S No.4 MK 1/1942", the metal surfaces are an overall dull gray patina, wood shows light wear and dings but nothing alarming, rifle comes with a U.S. leather sling, I believe this maybe an early import (late 50’s) as it has the word
England
stamped above the serial number, rifle will look great in a Military Collection, overall condition is Very good.
