Parker Hale rings/bases
On an off-chance for a friend of mine (who I infected with enfielditis), does anyone have, or know someone who may have, Parker Hale rings RAHS3 and bases (BA20 and BA21) that they would not mind parting with for a reasonable amount of cash? I know they show up from time to time on Ebay, but I thought I'd try my luck here. I did find a company in England
that may have the front base (BA20), but they have not got back to me yet.

Norman Clark Gunsmiths in Warwickshire are usually a good bet for anything Parker Hale, have you tried them ?

You only need to ask - check your email later.
Alan
Mine are not the best, but they are not too bad. I can think of lots of Enfields I'd rather have but instead of constantly striving for more, sometimes it's good to be satisfied with what one has...

There a company in Canada
that has the front BA20 listed for $30.00 and rear BA$60.00 plus 14% tax and shipping. Don't know if they export however email me if you don't get help. The RAHS.3rings...your asking for 1" high rings are going to be tough to get and pricey. Again I can ask around. Ron
PS As Alan stated the BA20 base is available in the UK
however not the BA21 at the source we know.

I just had a look in my bits and pieces box and found a set of 1 inch Parker Hale rings marked RAHS.3 - the distance from the mounting surface to the underside of the scope tube is approximately 12mm.
Any good to you ?

RAHS = 1" high rings. Your dimension is correct.
A word of caution...if your planning on cloning an Enforcer and using a Pecar scope it has a 26mm body. The correct Parker Hale rings for this application are RAHS.4. The RAHS.3 will crush the scope body when tightened. Ron

I have mailed my friend to check exactly what he is using scope-wise. Will chase up when I know - trust the Germans to make things complicated lol. Siddley, hold those rings!!! LOL - I may have a buyer if they are the right size

Thank you for the overwhelming response from the members of the Enfield forum. Now all I need to find is a PH5E/4 and the correct safety to complete the project for my friend - heck, why am I not doing this for myself???

My understanding is that Pecar scopes had both 1" and 26mm bodies. Certainly the one on my enforcer has a 1" body and the RAHS3 rings - so would advise running a micrometer over any scope you have/purchase.

Thanks for that, Gnr527. I just found out that there are 2 Pecar scopes for sale, 1 that has a 1" tube diameter and the other has a 26mm tube diameter, and it appears that the second scope is original to the Enforcer. That means I need to find RAHS4 rings. Why do the Germans have to make everything so bloody difficult??? LOL (I love 'em, really)
