I have been wanting to scope one of my K-31's using a clamp on mount for some 300 and 400 yard shooting completion. I think I have found another choice.

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. I was able to complete the transaction on this Zfk55, made in 1958, one of the last built, complete with accessories. Waiting for that big brown truck.

It was listed on Gunbroker with a $2500 opening price, no reserve and a buy it now of $4500. The auction ended under 3k. I feel this was a bargain with the complete package.

With regular production K-31 being so finely made and fitted I can't imagine a more perfect gun than a K-31 sniper rifle. Congratulations.
