    TIME magazines Visions Of Victory

Just got a copy of Times, Visions of Victory.
America's Triumph in World War II.
Lots of great pictures. It's the 1945-2010: 65th Anniversary Tribute.
    Hoping it's a good read.
    Cost was $12.95

    FWIW,

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Generally Time is a little too liberal for my reading but this one might get my attention. Thanks for the heads up Charlie. I would be surprised if they didn’t put a liberal spin on the article though (if they didn’t).

    Hi Billy,
I had my daughter scan the cover in for me. It's aprox 159 pages.
Inside cover says it was originally published in 2005; revised and updated, 2010.
    Back cover reads,
Visions of Victory tells the story of the final year of WWII, as the United Statesicon and its allies fight two great wars at once: against Germanyicon in Europe and against Japanicon in the Pacific. From the battle of the Bulge to the invasion of Iwo jima, here are unforgettable battles, people and events of those memorable days. Adapted from the popular 2005 books Absolute Victory, V-E Day and V-J Day, this volume has been revised and redesigned to celebrate the 65th anniversary V-E Day and V-J Day- to honor all those who carried America to triumph in World War II.

Lots of great pictures and battlefield maps.

    Regards,
    Charlie-painter777
