I also was mindful of my two Uncles who served with the 29th Division, 116th Infantry Regiment and were killed at Omaha Beach, Normandy, France
on June 6 in the first waves storming the beach. It amazes me that these men pressed forward with no regard for their own lives to obtain an objective. I often wonder how many youngsters today would put their lives in such jeopardy. And that's not to take away the bravery of our troops in Afganistan, Iraq, and other far-flung hell holes. Thanks Stryker.
