I couldn't resist going out in the snow to try the Hakim now that it has a new extractor. The climate shock didn't seem to affect it as I put 60 rounds of '53 Yugo down range. The action worked without any problems. I also brought the Romanian Tokarev with some Yugo surplus to try and capture the fireball in an image. After the sun went down the Hakim was first up. While there was some fire visible from the butt end of it, the image didn't capture much. Just a slight bit of color at the muzzle break and some color just beyond the muzzle...
The Tokarev was a different story and gave a good flash of light that was captured by the camera. I expected that after my beyond sun down experience with the CZ 52...
